Thank you Tempestjohnny! Thanks for the visit!

Toshi

Thanks plasticjunkie! I wanted to do something that was different.

Toshi

Thank you my friend!

Toshi

Thank you for the support in this unique paint job.

Toshi

I looked around google and saw only an example of this Luftwaffe scheme. Thanks for the visit.

Toshi

Thanks crown r n 7. I tried something that was a Luftwaffe example I found on Google.

Toshi

It took me sometime to figure out the camoflauge, I’m glad you like it.

Toshi

LOL! Thanks for the laugh today!

Toshi

I never thought of that. Very interesting!

I know the Pfeil never went operational but i recall seeing the scheme specifications in one of many Luftwaffe directives regarding the RLM use on fighter/bombers. I’m sure changes to the directives would had eventually occurred specially on field applications.

Max sez; EXCELLENT for sure! The whole package looks good.

Thank you very much Hodakamax, your support is extremely appreciated!

Toshi

Really, now i didn’t know that. I had simply thought that Dornier, being better kown for bombers rather than fighters, had just used stocks of paint they had to hand, especially given the situation at the time. Thanks for that info. I’ll have to try and look into that.

Toshi - I think this is one of your best builds, very nicely done, thanks for the post and photos.

You are welcome buddy. I’m trying to remember where in the heck I read that and saw the drawings with the splinter patterns and RLM colors.

Edit:

Here is one article I had in my documents section that I found while building mine.

Still looking for the other documentation I found while researching my build a couple of years back.

Thank you patrick206! As always, it’s my pleasure to post photos of my builds. It’s a great feeling to be able to share my builds with forum members and model enthusiasts!

Toshi

Here are some B&W photos of my Phiel. Most if not all the original Phiel photos are in B&W so I thought this would be some cool pics.

Toshi

You need to add a background and it will look like the real thing.

Ok, I’ll make sure that I’ll keep that in mind.

Toshio

Nice work there Toshi, I agree- really neat looking camo scheme!
