Back again guys… My assembly line is going great guns at the momment… i usually have about 4 or 5 different projects going at one time…

Last night I got back into doing my Fuji T-1B for my JASDF collection… The kit that I got was the 2 in one kit from Hasegawa… The other kit is now on its way to a fellow member… This kit came with 2 sets of decals… One set were in the style of the Blue Impulse Team of the Sabre days, and the other set (That I went with) are the decals for the 50th anniversary of the JASDF…

Again, I dont have a proper cam, and take pictures with my Video camera, but I hope you enjoy the pics… This is not a very common aircraft to people, but it makes up a nice design similar to that of the Sabre… The only thing I have left to do on her, it to put the Mt Fuji design on the bottom of it, and then paint the black glare strip down the front of the nose…

Have you been to any air shows in Japan? I’ve been here 12 years now, and have yet to go to one. I’d love to see the Blue Impulse!

Thanks guys!.. Its not a very common aircraft for people… I never knew about it until I came to Japan… Brian this is my 4th year in Japan, and cant say that I have had the chance either to go to an airshow… I grew up next door to Amberley Airforce Base back home in Australia, and so have been to a few when I was younger… Then when I lived in Atlanta. I was litterally a mile or so down the road from Dobbins… Now I live near an Army base here in Fukuoka… Strange!

bstrump, this scheme is that of the JASDF 50th Anniversary… They are normally painted in a red and white trainer scheme… The scheme I chose was the Mt Fuji display design… When you look at the plane in the air, you see a big Mt Fuji on the bottom of it in blue… The red and blue on the side is I think to represent wind?.. Not sure?

The other scheme is the scheme that Calvin will now proudly own… He bought the second kit of the 2 kit set from me…I would describe this scheme as a tribute to the Blue Impulse Team that flew the F-86 Sabres…

Blue Impulse F-86 Sabre… I have the F-86 painted in the silver JASDF scheme… I am thinking of re-doing it in the Blue Impulse scheme…
