Complete Hasegawa 1/200 C-40A Clipper

US Navy 737 - cool little kit, litterally a couple days out of box. Couple mistakes here and there but I like the overall look. First time I’ve done a kit wheels up since I was a kid. A few more decals and a clearcoat and its done.

Wasn’t sure where I should post - but it is an airliner afterall

Looks nice. I like seeing airliners displayed in flight. They are really sleek with gear and flaps up. I remember reading that the 727 had an L/D around 20 or so, as good as sailplanes of that era. I guess that thing would glide a long way from cruise altitude, as do most recent airliners. Wonder what the L/D is on the 787.

Done - final decals and a coat of future. Really fun couple day build.

Thanks - I really like the look of this plane in flight.

I made the mistake of putting the winglette tips on. This particular aircraft did not have them.

Looks cool. Shiny

Looks great Keavdog,

Airlines are so hard to pull off.

All the guys I’m flying with that flew the 727 have nothing but good things to say about it, for most of them, it’s their favorite airplane.

Hi ;

I only got to fly one once .Way back when they were still quite new to most fleets . A ferry run from The plant to the customer in Newark . Nice bird and a beautiful Model .

Geez ! If I had wanted to stay away from home I could’ve been an airline pilot . Didn’t want it though . I still miss the office and those wings sticking out there behind me . Aw well ! It was very good while it lasted .

I like the 727 and the 737 a lot , but my all time favorites are the C-5-A and the C-141 .

What decals did you use?

Was the kit a Hasegawa 737-700?

It is a 737-700. I used the kit decals oob
