Nice damage modeling, how did you do it?

Good looking bird and your weathering/battle damage is eye catching. Nice job on the old workhorse[:)].

Thanks Matt90, Eddie, Dubau!

Matt90, I asked the same question before in the forum. All i did was put the varies size of drill bit over candle, then press it on the model, then drill it by hand so that the plastilc wont be stuck on the drill bit. then put weathering over it. hope it helps ya smiles

That is one great looking bird, nice work[tup]

Great looking Devastator! One of my favorite aircraft. Got two waiting in line to build. I also like your weathering, nice touch.

Good to see a fellow modeler from Rochester on line. I live in germany now, but born and raised in Rochester(Greece)!

Thanks everyone smiles. Weathering was my toughest thing to do since it was my first time. Thank god for engine search since be able to find some battle damage on aircrafts.

Gordy92highlander Thanks smiles Devastator is my favorite torpedo aircraft. Its very sad not to see any active Devastator around.

I just found a website where you can save a Devastator buried under the ocean in southwest pacific. if you are a fans of Devastator suggest you guys to donate it.

Looking good.

Unfortunately for the unlucky Devastator, having a bunch of holes blown in it, is almost a ‘natural’ state for it.

Nice job on the build and the battle damage. I have the feeling the crew had to change their shorts after that mission!
