I just received in a trade a metal Como Models barrel for the T-55. Has anyone heard of or used these before? It looks really nice, perfectly smooth, rifling in muzzle, etc. Here is my dilema. The metal barrel is longer than the plastic barrels on all 3 T-55 kits I have. It is about 1/4" longer than Tamiya T-55A (with all the added length in the bore evacuator}, 3/8" longer than Trumpeter T-69 barrel (bore evac and tube longer), and 1/2" longer than Skif T-55 barrel (all over longer). Anyone know which is closer to actual length and is the metal barrel off or the kit barrels?
hmm, that seems too long. 1/4" longer than Tamiya you say? According to my references Tamiya’s barrel is just about right…
