…as i’ve more than likely whinned at some point or other…i’m now in Belfast for two years this November and thus far have been quite fortunate to either have shipped or brought with me…some of my modelling stuff…actually i just returned yesterday from moms and managed to ship 10 boxes of models and modelling supplies and i finally have my airbrush/hose/assorted attachments now in my possession…FINALLY[:D][:D][:D]…however, i couldn’t as hard as i tried, package any of my old modeling mates or local shows / contests let alone convince them (selfishly) that this is the place to be…
are there any shows or contests in Belfast…ever ???
does anyone know anyone who is a plastic phanatic or styrene silly here ???
HHHHH…EEEEEEEEE…LLLLLLLLL…PPPPPPPPP…

you might want to post in the off topic forum. for modelers from your area. that is one place almost everyone ends up one time or another.

um…thanks joe…i’ll do that right away…and all i did was turn right at Greenland…

cirikili-

sorry, but I only understood about 2/3’s of what u said in tthis topic

Matt…essentially…in a nutshell, i’ve re-located to N. Ireland and was asking if there was any member of the forum who knew of any model shows/contests or like minded plastiholics here…
there are two LHSs’ here, however, one sells ONLY European produced kits and none of the attendants have a clue (nor care) about the hobby. Modeller’s Nook, the other shop, is tiny with an occasional subject of my interest but, offers virtually nothing regarding any knowledge of modelling groups or shows/contests. So, it’s like living in a modelling vacuum…if not for this forum i’d go loony.
