anyone know the best way to tint massive amounts of sand? I am builkding a scale replica of the somalia incident on a 3’ x 8’ sandtable. I need to tint the sand red/orange. Can I just use regular dye?
It may help, on the DVD “Mission to Mars” in the Bonus features there is section on them spraying the ground for the Mars orange, I can’t remember what they used, but may be worth renting from somewhere and finding out.
glue the sand onto a board, then use airbrush or spray can
