Color Reference for Russian KV-1

Anyone have a decent color reference photo for a KV-1? I am thinking of doing a winter camouflage scheme (semi-transparent flat white over dark green) but I haven’t been able to find anything on Google.

Also, would the idler and road wheels as well as the drive sprocket typically be painted the same overal color of the tank? Let’s assume that the paint job is on a brand new KV-1 right off the line!

Any help appreciated and FYI the kit is the older Tamiya KV-1 (#35066)!

Hi, Neil Stokes has the most comprehensive info on the subject. He did an in depth clinic at the last AMPS and if you go on their website they may[ just a guess] have the article or info or type in his name. You wont find better info on the subject. Good luck
