I am doing “The Millie P” from the 55 F.G. I am using the AeroMaster decals for my plane. I must paint the nose section green and then lay down the yellow checker decals. The only green that they tell me to use for this is “Green 46”. Do any of you guys know the brand that they may be talking about. I orderd some H46 Emerald green from Guenze-Sayngo. Take a look at this link, http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/165/3/5/180 , what color do you guys think would match what I need. Thanks for the help.
Emerald green is probably too bright. What you are looking for is ANA 612/FS 34102 Medium Green. Testors makes the color in enamel, TS 5096. It may also be available in Acryl. I don’t have my cross reference chart to see if it is available in another paint line.

What I used is Testors Olive Drab, Insignia Red, Yellow, Medium Green, Floquil Platinum Mist and Old Silver. I used Floquil clear gloss before decaling with Super Scale and flated the proper areas with Floquil flat. The Testors number I gave is from their on-line catalogue. I looked in the 2006 catalogue last night, and didn’t see that number, but a different one. Guenze and Polyscale both haave the Medium Green according to the catalogue.
