Well after a disaster with a plane canopy, I decided to make a coke truck for my wife, it is coming along nicely and here are some pics. Comments are welcome as always[8D]

Looks awesome!!! I’m an awe!! How did you get the raised lettering on the engine painted??!! You have to give me the secrets!!!
That is looking great. I agree with Heath, how did you do the lettering. I have some on my laddert ruck that I just stare at trying to figure out how to paint them.
looks great. keep us posted.

the lettering is a decal (HA Fooled ya) but I finished it tonight, did this in 2 days, had time to work on it and my wife is so happy, she is a coke junkie.
Coke machines are part of the kit, metal one and very nice. Fun build and a good kit other than a ton of flash and mold lines, the fit was excellent.[:D] Only problem was one of the clear pieces was damaged, you can see it in the picture, no way to repair it but I guess I will live with it.
WOW, WOW, and DAMN!!! LOL I was hoping you could tell me how to paint some raised letters I have on my mini…I’m about on the same page as Chris, as I’ve been just kinda looking at the letters in wonderment and awe!!! Gorgeous Truck!! That is very impressive build for two days…how do you get everything to dry so quickly!?
Excellent.
Raised lettering – a very stead hand, good light and not too much paint, which is definately not too runny, allowing plenty of time. Well that how it works for me.
Wow, now that’s something different. Good job! [:D]
Love the yellow, great job
Fantastic job! I love how you did the engine and chassis! Your yellow is just so smooth! Fantastic!
As for the windshield, I think that if you get some Testor’s Window/Clear parts cement and use that to fill in the hole, you could then paint that part silver and nobody would be able to tell it was ever damaged. Give that a try.
good idea duke, may try that just cause. This is a present for my wife and she dont care about the windshield problem, she was just happy I made it for her:-)
Taht is a great looking build especially to be done in 2 days. Must have a fwe days off work. Great job.
Very nice pick up thanks for the pics.
