I’m working on a 1/72 Polikarpov I-152 and they give no reference as to what color the cockpit is. There’s only three pieces, the instrument panel, the floorboard section, and the seat. Does anyone know what color these were usually painted?
EDIT: Also the bracing struts, since it’s a biplane, and what color the inside of the fuselage halves are?
From what I understand the Russians used a blue-grey color for interiors, I’ve seen FS 26320, 26373, and British extra dark sea grey quoted. There doesn’t seem to be any conclusive research or source. The seat and floor may be brown, as wood. I don’t know about the struts.

Thanks for the link, and I found a few pictures where the blueish-grey is used also. I’ll see what I can find as far as strut colors…

Thanks for those pics! That’s exactly the color I saw in a few reference photos of mine. What aircraft is that in particular?
With the I-152 the bracing struts often have the same color as the upper side of the lower wing. They are not “laquered wood” color.
