You know silver,

it all depends on which model you’re building…let us know specifically which kit
or type of aircraft your talking about…and you’ll get a lot of info back…each plane might have different interior colors…

Tank

sorry tank, let me be more specific, Military aircraft, world war 1, and 2, does that help? thanks

there are still several different colors used, depending on which particular aircraft, which country, etc. The IMPS Stockholm site has a wonderful section on colors for certain aircraft

http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/

There are two big questions that need to be answered before the correct color gave be recomended. The first is what country the aircraft is from. Every country had its own set of interior colors. The second is the time period. The colors that were used sometimes changed as the war went on. Of course the type of aircraft is kinda helpful too! [:D]

I’m looking for German, American, British,the type of planes, ME109, 262,111, fw109, etc…

All the ones you list used different interior colors. Me-109 & He-111 would be either RLM 02 or RLM 66, depending on the time frame. Me-262 & Fw-190 would be RLM 66.
In general terms, US aircraft in WW2 had Interior Green cockpits, but there were many variations. British WW2 aircraft had mostly British Grey-Green interiors.

Rick thank you for help!!! it will be realy helpfull.

Rick is right on with that… if 100% accuracy is not your goal, and just the general colors are what is important. British aircfraft can use Model Master RAF Interior Green, American can use either Interior Green (US version) or zinc chromate, and the RLM colors listed above are made by many manufacturers. As are the ones I listed, but Model Master is widely available in many areas so I just listed them.

I see you are in the US so www.squadron.com and www.greamodels.com would have any of the colors mentioned if you cannot find them locally.
