The remaining Cobra Company inventory (as in stock) will be available for purchase beginning Monday, May 14,2007 on a first come first serve basis. The Cobra Company telephone will be answered from 9am to 5pm Eastern (USDST) and the FAX will be on for FAX orders. You must have a clearly readable email to receive an answer about availability. Postage will be as follows- US address, APO/FPO at new USPS Priority mail rates starting at minimum $4.75 and adjusted by package weight rather than purchase value. Outside US by new small packet rate (uninsured) or Airmail over 1 lb./insured. NO EMAIL ORDERS- SECURITY RISK TOO HIGH!!!
How would you pay for the orders as you can’t use email? Would you fax a copy of the order form to you? If you have the items we want would they then be reserved and you then forward an invoice to us?
[sigh]
No, folks. Cobra Company never went out of business, nor said they were going out of business. There’s a difference between out-of-business, and ceasing orders. Operations are being reorganized.
Well, that is some good news. I understood the original announcement to be an “operational pause” while some things were sorted out. Hopefully they’ll be back in battery in no time. (crosses fingers) I’m planning to send some business Chief Snake’s way next month when I get my annual allowance (birthday gift money).
