Coat for tank

Hi, i was wondering if i can use art mattcote for my tank. Will there be any complication ?

Those art cotes come in big spray can, and are much cheaper than Testor’s.

Thank you !!

I would recomend against using it because of several reasons. First, you don’t know what kind of reaction it will have with the paint that you used. Second, you don’t if it will yellow over a short period of time. They say that you need to keep it out of direct sunlight to keep it from yellowing, but I have found that, that is not always the case. I used a simular product once and it yellowed 2 days after I applied it. I would just recomend spending $3.00 for the Testors to keep from ruining a $30.00 model.

I owuldn’t recommend using it for the reasons that Xpertgamer1500 mentioned. I had a similar experience with it. About a week after I had finished a 1/35 Sherman, I noticed that it had acquired a bad case of jaundice from which it didn’t recover. Stay with known products and you can’t go wrong.
