My main problem has always been the paint “clogging up the tip” of the airbrush. I only use water based paint, mostly Polly S. I just thin my paint with regular tap water. I have been modeling with this set up for 5-6 years and haven’t been able to get consistent results.

Try isopropyl alcohol instead of water. Thin to consistancy of cream. I’ve been using Tamiya and Gunze acylics in my H and its never clogged. Don’t get discouraged, just keep trying different combos of things and try out on scrap styrene or on old junk model. Good luck.
