Recently, for cleaning purposes, I disassembled for the first time the head/nozzle assembly of my no brand, badger 150 replica airbrush. After 2 days in thinner (celullose) I reassembled it and instead of paint flowing through the needle, air came out trougth the paint jar…
The reassemble was done simply by screwing the head/nozzle. Should I use any sealant in the treads? Can any one help me?
Note: I made shure all the parts are clean and theres no damage to the teflon needle bearing.

That’s wierd. If i understand you right it is backflushing on it’s own. Back the needle up some. The tip/nozzle is 2 pieces. There should be clearance between them (it’s hard to explain) Then you also need clearance between the needle and nozzle. Put them on separately one at a time and see if some water will spray through.
well i think the problem is solved. There should be a teflon washer between the head and the airbrush body, but instead there was a tiny o-ring that didn’t seal it as it should…
i think that there was a sealant to make the part of that teflon washer, and when i dissasemble it i remove it. I put a bigger o-ring, made from te vinil air hoose, and its working as new… or at least almost…
