I remember years age in FSM classifieds of a company offering clear thin plexiglass prop discs to put on an airplane model to simulate the prop spinning in flight, etc.
Where can one find these again, or do I need to scratch build them using circular templates scribing onto thin plexiglass sheets, etc?
Also go to propblur.com They have etched metal props that look really real. If you do try the clear plastic method, try mounting it to a Dremel and while it’s spinning sand and lightly paint the disk. You can easily remove excess paint and experiment with pencils. If it gets to worn out you can make another disk and start again. Also think about reducing the diameter of a disk a little; it will help make your plane NOT look dominated by a big plastic disk. Good luck
