Does Testors/Model Master make a product that acts as a “clear coat” or final coat – to give the model a shine to it?? I’ve used a metallic paint and it just doesn’t have the brillance I thought it would. Is this a job for Future?
Thanks!

They make clear but I don’t know what that’d do to metalics. they usually tell you clear and metalic don’t mix. You could try rubbing(buffing) if even if it’s not the buffable. Might help.
It is a job for Future! Check out Swanny’s website for good Future tips.
Testors Clear enamel should work fine, I have used it over many metallic paint jobs with good luck.

Try Tamiya’s TS-13 clear spray, very good stuff.[2c]
I did a model of tamia’s Ford Sierra, I sprayed it with a 2 pac clear & it came out really glossy. this was done last year & it hasnt harmed the decals or paint in any way.
