Hello all. Can I spray Intermediate Gauzy Agent over AK Xtreme Metal, aluminum, AND Tamiya XF-62 olive drab. Subject model is a P-47. Without thinking I sprayed the Tamiya, top glare stripe, over the AK. Came out great, but I don’t know if the Gauzy will work properly with Tamiya? Thanks in advance. Ted.
I have never experienced any problems spraying Intermediate Gauzy Agent over Tamiya or AK Extreme Metal. Let that acrylic paint cure fully, 24-48 hours, before putting down the Gauzy. As for the Xtreme Metal, Gauzy might reduce the metallic “pop” if you used polished aluminum.
But, perhaps get a “paint mule” with these paints to use as a test subject before putting it down on the P-47.

Gauzy has worked fine over Tamiya for me and AK Real paints,I have not tried X-treme Metal paints yet.
