Clear Blue

Im supposed to apply a light coat of clear blue ( Tamiya enamel) on a clear window part of a helo im building; previously, i was able to do so by brush without producing brush stroke marks; however, this time, after adding some thinner to dilute the partly hardened paint, to my horror, the brush strokes appeared! the clear blue has a rather different consistency than standard enamel paints; my question is can i airbrush this reformulated clear blue i am using?[?]

One way to find out. Try it on spare clear part and see what happens!

While Im not sure about the Tamiya Clear blue I know the MM Acryl “Clear Blue” Brushes on a lot better than it airbrushes on…

I would agree with trying it out on a scrap piece first.

I understand you can use food coloring in Future to tint it. Might want to try that and then just dip the canopy in it.

Of course you would want to try it on something that isn’t important first

Thanks for your suggestions and replies guys! i appreciate it ( and of course ill try it! )
