Chute Pack w/ new photos

Anyone know of a good source of photos for the braking parachute packs used on modern military aircraft? I’ve decided it would be fun to model the drag chute doors open on the F-117 but I’m having trouble locating any photos that would show what it looks like when it’s all stowed say as if it had just been repacked and the tech was just about to seal it all back up for flight.

Any guesses??

Thanks!

Brian,
Not much luck on the web. Did find this which appears that Pioneer is the manufacturer for the F-117(not sure if the only one).
http://www.pioneeraero.com/2-17_air_bra.htmThere is a contact us link on it so you can ask them directly.
I will also check that F-117 book I have and see if there are any shots in it.

Thanks Phil! Once again you come through! You wouldn’t happen to know of any other aircraft that use a similar system would you? I found a model online that a guy had done this with and I’m just kinda shooting from the hip here - no real reference photos or ideas as to what it should really look like!

And this photo of the model is the only thing I’ve been able to find at all! Even a different aircraft would be nice just to have an idea of what a drag chute looks like in it’s little wrapper all nice and pretty before being deployed in the a/c’s landing roll.

OK, well I’ve been left alone for a few hours with some sheet styrene stock and a bit of Tamiya’s modeling epoxy. You be the judge - if you were to happen upon this contraption at a model show, would you be convinced? [%-)]

(I still have to put the bag assembly in the bay once it’s dry, attach the doors and paint it all of course!)
