Use Bare Metal Foil does a great job and easy to use!
How do you use it?Gorgeous car BTW.
Well you measure the size of the area to be covered, cut out a piece apply it to the model.burnish it down and then trim it for exact fit! All you really need is a new #11 blade in yout Exacto knife and a good pair of tweezers! You can use it for Aircraft too but it takes longer!
I just might give it a shot. That plane is awesome.
Where do you get this stuff? It appears I’m going to get plenty of practice with it!

Your LHS should carry it, if not, you can order online from Micro Mark or the like. I like the “chrome”, I’ve heard some folks say the “Ultra Bright” (I think that’s what they call it) doesn’t stick as well and looks fake.
I rub out the wrinkles in the BMF with a clean cotton t-shirt stretched over my finger. I do this before I trim with the xacto knife. It works rel well for me. It really gets the chrome trim looking smooth.

You can also buy it direct from the manufacturer. Here’s a link
