Has anyone got an opinion on these two model mfgrs? Where did you purchase them if they are worth purchasing? Cheers, Bill
If you are in north america (I assume?) they are distributed by
airconnections in Canada. they are on-line. go to links on the main page and choose manufacturers for Aber.
Karaya make deadly gun barrels in 35 and 48 scale. the perforated mg jackets are pre rolled etch. just cut equal lengths of barrel(supplied) and coolling jacket then attatch to your model.
Happy modeling

how’s about a web address. Google did not turn up anything useful
Don’t know about Karaya but Joe’s Models had two table fulls of Choroszy kits at Mosquitocon. He sells from an EBay store but his e-mail is joefrancesco@comcast.net. I’ve bought some Olimp kits from him and he was great to deal with. gary
Here’s Karaya’s web site - http://www.karaya.ceti.pl/eng/eng2.html
I don’t have any experience with thier models - didn’t know they made them until I looked at their web site a minute ago?
As drewh said, their .50 barrels are the bomb. I don’t have any direct experience with airconnection. I checked their prices a couple of times in the past and thought they were pretty steep - IMHO. I didn’t know they were still in business. I purchased my .50 barrels directly from Karaya probably 2-3 years ago. I thought they had good prices and decent service. I’ve also seen Karaya stuff at www.greatmodels.com.
I bought the Choroszy MAS 20 torpedo boat last weekend. It’s definitely not a beginner kit, but I was very impressed with the details.
