That is awesome, always wondered what a shiney Sherman would look like.
That is one cool Sherman…great job, Build22!
Dan
[(-D] That’s beautiful! [(-D]
Very nice job on that conversion [8D]
ac optional, more like required. That thing is
HOT
Very cool looking Sherman dude
Well now that I’m home my PC can actually see the pics, and well I’d have to say that it’s AWESOME!!!
Someone mentioned chrome 20’s no no no no no they would be 24’s. with spinners and you could put some subs in that bad boy theat would scare any german away… looks nice I like it.
that’s one cool looking vehicle, does it come with a block heater for canadian winters??
Or trick it out with the chrome rims that stay still even when their moving. And chrome-plated treads wouldn’t be bad!
Could you dangle some tiny little fluffy dice from the barrel? Just for me?
Excellent idea and build! Enter it in a car division in a comp, I dare you!
Matt
I definetly did this for fun but, it also reminded me why I like to do armor. It was a lot of sanding and painting. Everything had to be perfect or it would show with a gloss paint.
Those headlights, I can’t tell you how mant times I shaped and sanded and then painted only to find lumps or misses and sanded and painted again. But I did enjoy doing it and getting the finish product to come out baby-butt smooth.
Can’t make a Tiger look that good - right Sherm !
I wanted to chop it alittle further but, I didn’t want to get too gowdy. Came across an awesome plum metalflake - but decided - maybe not
Bill ( wipw) - It took probably as much time as if I had built it normally - only thing was I spent a lot more time on the finish rather than the building.
Tigerman, Phroosh - I was thinking more of those little balls hanging on strings all around the bottom of the hull or maybe some neon to light up the track !
Thanks for the great comments they are appreciated ! I thought a slight change of pace would be nice.
Thanks again,
Jim
AWESOME [bow]. Now if I could just find one of those babies, then I wouldn’t have to worry about the maniacs on the South African roads!!
I know this sounds crazy, but I think Jim could be on to something great here. What if we had a hot rod/armor conversion Group build to change things up a bit? We would have to put away the dirt and finish up with some clean and glossy vehicles?
Dan
I’m diggin’ it!
Smooth job blending in the headlight covers and all.
Schweeeet!
Along those lines, I always thought a Pro-Street Jagdpanther would look cool!
Looks great but wheres the ground FX?
Fantastic!
I think it is suitable for beautiful neon streets of Tokyo.
I like it very much!
It’s certainly different. I wonder what a Sherman done in Alclad’s Prismatic Green would look like???
But does it come with leather seats?
how about the road warrentie? how many miles do you think that the road wheels and tracks are good for?
You just have to imagine the reaction on the street if that thing pulled up next to say a rice burner or a pasta rocket. Seeing that barrel would make their engines fall out.
Thanks again for the kind comments
Armormaster - you’re on to something
Chris B - gotta have something to compete - these SUV’s keep getting bigger and bigger
Dan - I’m up for another - My second choice was T-55 or JS-3 w/ those rounded turrets
J-Hulk - Thanks - I could definetly see that
Keyworth - I had a big dilemna - I almost was going to finish it completely metallic gold - I think that would have looked great too
claymore68, easyeight, Mourningstar - the possiblitiies are limitless. I thought about putting a rumble seat in the back engine deck - that would have been different - you could put some of those lights they put in the sci-fi spaceships to replicate a burning engine
Great looking sherman!
so where was it deployed that it need camo like that??[:P]
