I am curious about how long service life the Chevrolet CMP had in the British Army. Did it stay in the inventory into the fifties?
The reason is that I have an plan of an post war scene in West Germany during the fifties combining it with an VW Beetle and some British squaddies and their mount.
Don’t know Germany, but it was in use in Korea according to pictures from “In Action Korea” from Squadron. My guess is that the vehicles in Germany would have of the European variety,(British, French, German).
Well it seems to me that it is so. I think I have to re-think the set-up of the idea. Maybe to some more exotic like some French vehicle. But I am short in softskins with an French connection.
