Here are a couple of figures that I have sculpted and primed. I will be making a bunch more of these and will base them on the world’s most notorious and best fighting forces in the world. The one on the right is an SS officer and the right is a us special forces advisor in Nha Trang of 1967. The other pic is a viking warrior. I am in the process of building my website so keep checking for progress.

very cool, I love the viking warrior. I plan on taking this 3D form and design class this summer in hopes of learning to sculpt. Hopefully i will be able to turn out work half as good as yours.
dang, u sculpted those??? wow I cant even sculpt a mold line off a model with out messing up lol HOW CAN I EVER COMPARE!!! (not ment to be facesious… fecesous… well not ment to be funny) awsome work, keep it up.

Yes it is. Magic sculpt. It takes awhile to get used to huh? Sculpey is much cleaner to work with but I really hate baking and it is much too crumbly. By the way, I like your work as well. Too much eyestrain isnt it? I need some glasses after doing this stuff! Oh well, later.
I sculpt in Magic Sculpt exclusively. Have been for years. I love it. Oddly enough, I have never been a Sculpey fan. I know a gut who does a lot of work for Verlinden who uses Magic Sculpt for everything but the face, and uses Super Sculpey for that. Didn’t work too well for me.
You know you can cook off Magic Sculpt too? I made an oven from a small card board box lined with aluminum foil and then stuck a 60 watt light bulb in there. It cooks the putty off in about 10 minutes. Been using the same box for about 10 years now. I bust through faces that way. I sculpted a U-Boat commander bust in one night that way. I don’t usually whip through a project like that BTW, but I was on a roll that night.

You mean it cures it in 10minutes! Wow, that would be nice. Also, what tools besides your fingers do you use to smooth. It seems very difficult to do in such tight spots. Sanding is difficult as well. Email me sometime I would like to talk more about it. I never get to talk to people who sculpt. mjollnirxx@yahoo.com
