Cheap photobox for your models

Cost = 1 box, 1 package of white tissue paper, 1 sheet of light blue and/or white construction paper and a couple of flourescent bulbs. Cut holes in the sides of the box, fit the tissue paper over as a defuser and your done. I’m still learning photography, but it’s a cost effective way to get some decent pics of your builds. [:D]

Mike,

I use the same setup for my photos. It works beautifully, doesn’t it?

I’ve posted this before from my newsletter. One of the ways you can make a durable inexpensive box is to purchase a cheap white bedsheet and some PVC piping.

This setup can be disassembled quickly and packed away or transported. The bedsheet can be machined washed to keep it pristine.

The heck with keeping the sheet pristine, how do you keep that cute lil’ polar bear so white?

He looks real good from a ways a way…he’s old and is showing signs of age.[;)]

Good ideas.

For much smaller stuff I had a friend who got a white bucket and attached a light to the top sealing it off. He then cut a hole in the side to take the pictures.
