Still use a T-33 as a chase plane at Reno for the Unlimiteds. Last time I went Steve Hinton flew it, but Bob Hoover made the call:
“Gentlemen, you have a race!”.

Reno is one of those things that I have to do one day.

Yes, the Reno Air Races (or unlimiteds or whatever the title is) are certainly a bucket list item for me (and I am not quite 50 yet). And really no more than a hard days drive from my curent location. One day when I have time and funding. I bet it is fun.

Great Pictures Stik! That first picture isn’t a P-63, it is a P-39 either “Cobra I” or “Cobra II”. The P-51 is NX3749 “Jay Dee”.
