I feel motivated to show you my Century Series fighters, after seeing Darwins great F-105 build.
All the birds are from Monogram, and 4 of them still need there markings applied, that will be taken care soon, though.
These were alot of fun to build, but now I need to build them in the NMF schemes, except for the 102/106, which will be gray, of course.
While most of the F-106s and F-102s were painted ADC gray there were some units with NMF F-102s. The NMF was most likely used for a short time period before the gray scheme was adopted. With Hasagawa’s new release of the F-110 Phantom you can complete your century series.
Great work, I always love seeing a Voodoo! for unknown reasons one of my favorite planes. maybe its cause i always used to see them at airshows and they were the loudest!
Leon, very well-done collection. Concerning the F-102, if you wanted something a little different, as mentioned by rangerj, some were not in ADC gray, but I believe they were painted aluminum lacquer rather than NMF, notably some birds from the Idaho ANG and the 57th FIS stationed in Keflavik, Iceland.
