Castrol Super Clean question

Many posts have recommended the use of this product for stripping paint from plastics and I have found it to be great for this purpose. I am wondering if anyone has tried shooting this stuff through an airbrush for cleaning purposes and/or soaking parts in it. I have found acrylics to be particularly tough to clean from airbrush nozzles hence the query about Castrol Super Clean.

Mike,

I have used it mixed with water and Windex and it does a good job.
It seems to make the acrylics come off in strips of paint though as opposed to something like lacquer thinner which breaks down the paint into fine particles.
I would have good ventilation though as it can be pretty bad to inhale it in an atomized form. [xx(] [;)]

Mike: Roger your transmission. I’ll try it outside on the patio to be safe. Thanks for your input!

Mike,

If you are going to spray outside then just use lacquer thinner as nothing else even comes close to it’s cleaning abilities. [:D] [;)]
