Caspian Sea--Monsters

These kicked up quite a fuss when they first appeared. They almost look Photo-shopped until you see the video.

These would be great for a kit-basher.

Hope you enjoy.

I don’t think these monsters would be very maneverable… and fuel economy? Shoot. A very fascinating idea to be sure! That Pelican thing they talk about looks like a load to me… 20,000 ft is what gets me! I can see a lot of mishaps with a craft like that. But, thanks a whole heap for the site… definately some interesting stuff!

Thats a monster n a half I tell ya… Imagine that thing armed to the teeth… Look Out…!!

Cool site, thanks fer sharing.

Flaps up,

Mike

Undetectable to radar? Tell that to an AWACS.

OMG! That thing is quite a monster. Let’s see now, a 1/48 scale would be about how big?

Darwin, O.F. [alien]

1/48 would be over 10 ft in wingspan and over 8 ft in length.

Even if you built it in the diminutive 1/144 scale it would be over 3.5 ft wingspan. YOW !

I think it was Revell of Germany that released a kit of one of these a few years ago. It wasn’t the “monster”, but a smaller version.

Jeff is right. Here’s a kit review: http://www.flankerman.fsnet.co.uk/ekran_144.htm

Check out the Virgin Atlantic version at the end of the review!

(I should have bought one of these when they were still available…not too long OOP though, really. Ebay, here I come!).

Revell of Germany released this kit on 2000. I like the unusual airplanes which is why I made it.
I still have to make a base for it.
