ived used flocking before, but not with good results. my question is about applying it. i have heard of putting it directly on the paint after it is sprayed on, using clear parts glue, and using diluted white glue. which one of these works best. and what steps do i take after applying it to assure an even, realistic finish. thanks-mark.
I use what they call Tack White glue its real thick and heavy and it drys some what slow but it works a lot better then any white glue i have seen.

I brush paint a flat color close to the color of the flocking and apply while the paint is still wet working in small areas.
The only way I have tried it Mark is with the flat paint useing a color a bit darker than the flocking to give it a bit of shadowing effect , it wirked pretty good after I figured it out.
alright, thanks for the tips, i will practice will all the ideas to se which one i prefer. thanks.
What I do and has been very good is to use dull coat in a spray can, put a light to medium mist and sift it through a sifter or window screan, no shine at all.
i cant concievably see myself flocking an interior, but here is what seems to be an excellent link http://www.italianhorses.net/Tutorials/Flocking/flocking.htm
hope this helps
awsome link, thanks for the tips guys.
This flocking stuff looks great, but I’ve never seen it in my hobbyshop. Where can I find it ???
Well I guess carpets would look kind of strange in the “office” of a F-14 [:)]
