I have a canopy with a few little scratches and wondering if I could use Novus Fine Scratch Remover? Has anyone tried this?

Never heard of it tilli searched google sounds to me like it would as long as seal it with future.
Smokinguns3~Thanks for the reply. I’ll give it a try but think I’ll practice on clear sprue to make sure it doesn’t cloud it up or anything.
Thanks,
Dave
Novus is made for polishing plastics and plexiglass, it will do the job.[tup]
Thanks Doc, I’ll rest a little easier!

Depending on how fine the scratches are, you may be able to fix them with a few applications of Future. Give the canopy a quick dip and let it dry and see if it’s cleared them up.

Gigatron, Yeah I tried that with the canopy and the Future did indeed seem to wash over minor scratches. There were a few remaining scratches so I removed the Future and will try and give a Novus treatment and then re-Future.
From now on if there are only very minor scratches I’ll just give it a dip in Future.
Thanks,
Dave
Another thumbs up for Novus.
Before I found my current method of canopy-scratch-removal, I used toothpaste and a polishing wheel in a Dremel. Worked great.
