Canopy masking

I decide to try the Eduard Express Mask for my B-25J. It took some time since this was my first use of this product. I masked everything one night then planned on painting the next night. I found almost every piece on a curved part of the canopy had come back up almost straight!

Anyone have any advise on how to keep it down or have I learned a $5.95 lesson?

Yep, thats been the problem with the Eduard masks. They simply don’t hold on compound curves. They have now switched to Tamiya tape for the masks, which should perform better, but there are still all of the old style in the pipe chain.

Once there on the model try heating them up with a hair dryer this shold help them to conferm around the curves.
