Cannot See Photos on forums

Hello, I have just returned to the forum after a long time away.

I tried to look up a topic about building the Revell CSS Alabama.

I could not view the photos. All I see is the small blue box with the ? in it.

Any advice or help would be great. I hope everyone is safe these days. Thanks

Hi Auggie,

Photos for posts on the Forum have to be linked to on a third-party website. However, as those sites have either closed or stopped their free services, the links to photos kept on those servers have been broken. Unfortunately, we never have had the server capacity to house all of the photos that were shared on the Forum–thus the links to the third-party platforms.

I don’t know why but sometimes those ghost photos can be found on a Google server.
