Here are some in progress pics. This is the Mincraft 1/144 scale C-54. Very nice kit. Recessed panel lines, the engines and nacelles are quite nice, they are a one piece affair un like the Minicraft DC-6 which were in halves. It’s been sanded and puttied. The low wing to fuesleage seam took some wrestling. It’s been airbrushed Alclad Gloss black. I wanted to try using this with their metalizers to see the affects. I’ve let it dry now for over 24. That’s it for now. Will post more as I progress.
Is there a good web site that describes this “candy bombers” Missions in more detail?
