OOP’s, that’s embarrassing posted that in the wrong thread. It must be time for bed.

happy canada day
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Congratulations to all the northern neighbors!
Tell me about it, and I am not even in this one.
And happy Canada day to you all.
Hey guys, I had put my builds on hold while I moved to Salmon arm. Anyways I’m here now and this seems like a good place to ask this question. Does anybody out there know any good hobby shops in the Salmon arm, Kamloops, Vernon area?
And a happy Canada day to all!!!
Made some pretty quick progress on the Sabre! Pics tomorrow,
Agent 003 is keeping a close eye on this project.

masking with poster-tack & tape. The first few “worms” took a little work to get loosened up, NEEDED the tape to hold them in place. The final 1/2 of them… sticky in my hands immediately. I crossed my fingers & kept on going.
Unfortunately there was some of the poster-tack left behind, BUT no paint was pulled up.
Went back over the residue spots with fresh masking tape & pulled at the stuff until it came off, disaster averted. A check for touchups tonight, drawing in any lost panel lines, and a Future coat this evening. Spot painted the nose and tail panels (IFF or RWR equipment I assume?)
Annnd - not that I’ll be tackling it immediately, but a preview of the Heller kit. Opening canopy, better cockpit interior, something to work with and see if I can scratch some details for it.
No plans on using them, but the good folks at Heller gave me two decal sheets? A little thick, but they look use-able.
Nice work on the camouflage. Came out very well!
Still a cute kitty.
Sorry I’ve been a little MIA lately.
But the builds are coming along great.
Except the Arrow, I’m sad to say its still white, and that’s it. Once I get caught up in the forum then I hope to do a bit over the next couple days I finally have off.
Thanks! The gray is a little more blue than I would have liked, but it still has a good contrast with the green.
Hull done. Just need to do the rear plate and attach it.
Coming along well, Cdn Colin.
Finally got Photobucket to upload my pics so here it its
I used MM tan for the base coat
than Tamiya earth brown
than MM medium green fro the last colour
and after all the masking is removed
Your CF-5 looks good.
That is a sharp camouflage scheme, very well done!
The camo on both the F-5 and Sabre looks very good. Good work.
Vance - I’ve always found the plastic to be very hard on those early Hasegawa kits, so I’m amazed at your progress.
Cheers
Tony
Tony, the plastic may be hard - but I had very little in the way of fit issues. Everything is basic compared to new-tool kits of course, but the fit is spot-on.
Now THAT looks really sharp with the 3 topside colours! [Y]
nice. i use MMA, PolyScale, and Tamiya interchangeably. just finished a big ship hull in enamels (brush painting instead of airbrushing) and now i know why i use acrylics for most stuff.
don’t forget to touch up the air intakes. speaking from experience i forgot to weather half a turret and didn’t realize it until i took some pictures.
