A short preamble to my new guy question-
My name is James Craig and I am located in Belleville Ontario. I am an avid hobbiest and miniature painter who is just starting to make his way into historicals - Flames of War - 15mm WW2 to be specific.
I am a competant painter of Fantasy and SF models - I have won 7 Golden demon awards and a number of other honours for my painting. I was one of the miniatures judging panel at GenCon Indy this past summer and was a member of their invitational charity speed painting team. I am also one of the leading council for The Lost - an incredible club and wargaming forum which has
a great and very active FOW forum.
What has drawn me into FOW is that my Grandfather is still alive and I really like the idea of doing something special with him and to honour him. He was part of a 25 pounder crew in the RCA 12th during Dday and the liberation of Holland.
THE QUESTION:
My main question for y’all is going to revolve around colour. I have started to collect my RCA models but have not yet started painting - the reason for this hesitation is that I REALLY want these Canadians to be a proper, Reasonably historically accurate colour. I found the post for the Gun tractor colour schemes which listed some brilliant forumlae for

This is exciting. But I dont know which colours the different vehicles are meant to be.
I have my battery of eight 25 pounders w/ tow vehicles, and 2 priests so far. I would really like to get going on these - can anyone here hel point me in the right direction. I want to make my grandfather proud.
