Can you use Testors/Boyds High gloss enamel clear coat over BMF?

I’m working on a 62’ T-Bird and I’m customizing it. The body and hood are going to be deep gloss black but I want to put some BMF on the body and hood also. I think the large parts of BMF would look tacky lying on top of a polished clear coat. Can BMF have clear enamel sprayed over it with out losing its shine?

I don’t see why not! I’m glad you ask that question
because I’ll be giving it a try here soon. So I hope someone
answers. I’ll let you know how it turned out.
