And after polishing the upper wing is ready for painting …
I hope you canenjoy Wojtek’s progress. If you are interested in the future “reports” from Wojtek’s build(s) please place here your comments and I will be glad to continue this exciting report.
Thanks Gentlemen ! I will pass your kind words to Wojtek.
Just two days ago Wojtek said: I am going to build something quick, OOB thing and picked Eduard 190 … Funny thing is: he started to modify the :
fuselage,
engine cawling,
tail
and few other things because those are not looking well enough, do not match drawings …
[banghead]
I am expecting another marvel coming soon. I am sure I can learn a lot from him [:)] - already improved my model picture taking skills thanks to his hints [:)]
here it is:
Wyskrobałem klapę na spodzie kadłuba. Jako szablonu użyłem wypiłowanego do odpowiedniego kształtu kawałka blaszki mosiężnej przyklejonego taśmą dwustronna do modelu.
rough correction to the vertical tail. Now its thinner by ~1 mm.
Tamiya seat fits almost perfectly into Eduard kit.
Based on pictures of the engine cawling, some corrections are necessary (as shown with a red line)
Hi there Greg,
Leonardo is alive and living in Poland !!
I’ve never seen anything as wonderous as this gentleman’s work [bow]
It’s truly inspirational too see the efforts and skills he’s demonstrating.
Many thanks for sharing this with us all, please continue.
My best wishes,
Mick C.
Wojtek recently started Eduard FW-190 and decided to modify few things, including tail geometry. Here is a final touch of this detail (besides few others [:)])
Wojtek took a masking tape (mostly used by auto body shops).
…very flexible
…using a tool from Bare Metal Foil nagniatam …
the scribing tool- a sewing needle … with consistentlow pressure to avoid inaccurate track.
in case of scribbing the line in such places, it is much easier to use this tool
just after scribbing the lines do not look to well
