You might recall my post a while ago about the 1/24 Sherman tank model I made from a toy tank that I bought.
I’ve finally found out the original manufacturer of this toy - it was made by a company by “New Ray”. (The one
I bought was in different packaging, presumably another company had bought their moulds).
Anyway, this company also have at least 2 other tanks in the same series as the Sherman - a M1 Abrams and a King Tiger.
I’d certainly be interested in buying these - the KT in particular.
After searching on Google, I found many US suppliers selling these for quite reasonable prices; however, I could not
find any UK companies selling them.
Are there any UK companies (mail order or online) which sell these toy tanks? I don’t really want to have to buy them on Ebay (assuming you can get them on Ebay at all).
Alternatively, would there be any import duties, tax or similar if ordering them from the US? I’m prepared to pay extra for postage, but am worried I might also end up paying a large amount extra for import duties etc. when I receive them (this has happened in the past when I ordered computer games from the US)
