Can I use MM enamels on resin figures?

I’m gonna be getting some 1/35 resin figures from the movie Aliens from my brother in the next week or so, and I’m wondering if it’s okay to paint them with my MM enamels that I use? He painted one of them years ago, and I’m pretty sure that’s what he used, but I can’t remember. What do y’all use when painting resin figures (or anything else resin for that matter)?

Short answer is yes. Make sure you clean them first with a warm water bath & scrubbing with an old toothbrush & detergent. Also highly recommend a primer before you paint.

Regards, Rick

Yeah, I was planning ot primer them. Figure that’s what I’ll do with all my 1/35 figures (and my 1/16 for that matter) to get the best finish possible. Thanks!

If the figure is primed it does not matter what they underlying material is, as long as your paint and primer are compatible(most are) you can simply paint as normal.
