Can anyone use these plastic shapes for their current or future project(s)?

I get these from the discard bin at work and kept a few for myself, but now I’ve got too many here in my room.

They are the durable plastic material, not compatible with liquid hobby cement.
approx Dimensions:

scoop thing -
L 8 5/8"
W 4 1/2"
H 2"
weight each 104g or 3.7 oz

flat thing -
L 9"
W 4 3/4"
H 7/8"
weight each 115g or 4.05 oz

anyway, let me know by reply or PM.

I’m not into minis, but the scoop thing looks like it could be the entrance to some futuristic Warhammer type bunker.

Or if you flip it over, it could easily be the airscoop to some ginormous-scale P-51.

good ideas!

A couple more overstock, overcollected stuff. These are made of the same plastic that VHS tape cartridges are made of and are compatible with Rez-N-Bond, maybe hobby cements for styrene, and maybe Plastruct cement. And of course CA and epoxy.

Box thing -
approx dimensions

121 g or 4.3 oz each
W 2" at widest place
L 6 7/8"
H 4 1/2"

Stucture thing -
approx dimensions

47g or 1.6 oz each
W 2"
L 7"

thanks.

I’ll give you a few hints about what you can do with the most recent forms you’ve shown.

You see the flanges eminating ninety degrees from the sides? The vaguely trapezoidal shapes?

Use a fine-tooth saw and cut those off. They are wonderful scratchbuild material. [8D]

Same goes for the box-like section in the interior of the form in the second to last picture. That also is greebly goodness.

And of course, the downward haging flanges (the ones with the screw/bolt holes) in the same picture. would also be useful.

That said, I might even cut an internal section out along the raised structure lines.

Just a few thoughts from a guy who is still carving his way through the remnants of an office laserjet printer for raw materials. [:)]

When you scratchbuild/kitbash long enough, everything becomes a potential Lego piece itching to be set free from a printer, phone, tool, or household appliance [:D]

Kolschey, very informative hints and suggestions for these…uh…these things.
Thanks!
I clicked your profile, interesting website too.
