How would i go on applying camouflage with a brush?
Would i mask it off with masking tape or something like that.

I would just lightly pencil the pattern on the surface and go over it with the brush. If you use tape, there is always the chance the paint will go under the edge, and then you have an unsightly mess to clean up.
Use light coats and paint in one direction only. The pencil idea will work great. Paint just beyond the pencil lines. When applying the next color paint into the last color so the two will blend in.
It is best to start with light colors. The darkest color should be the last applied.
