Im sorry if this seems like a silly question, but would the camo pattern shown on the side of this vehicle also be painted on the top and back side of the vehicle aswell?
Thanks.

Usually they just carry the pattern over all of the surfaces, except the bottom of course. That is an interesting pattern, Ive seen it before a while back. But you have to wonder just how effective it was.
Yup, top and back, but not bottom.
Yes, it would be on the top. When reproducing it, remember that a lot of camo jobs were done in the field. When I do it, I try to imagine what areas would easily be accessable for painting. Would the crew bother painting under the sponsons or the lower hull? Then I paint accordingly. My king Tiger, I left inside the fender areas and behind the wheels the base color with no camo. Now on the Luchs and Pz iii, the area just above the wheels is much larger and more easily reached by the crew for painting. Hope that helps
A technique you could use would be to use blue tac or silly putty in strings to mark out the camouflage. Not sure where I saw that, think it might have been in an issue of FSM, or maybe here on the forums, but it should work well for this application.
That works very nice. Practice on angles of th airbrush and how you apply the silly putty as you can achieve a hard edge to the camo or a somewhat softer edge (a real soft edge is difficult)
