camel hair brushes

I was wondering if these things were any good. I prefer the sable brushes but they can be exspensive.

LOL [bow][bow][bow] Holy crap dude!!! You got MC Hammer in your sig dancing around!!! LOL [(-D][(-D][(-D] My girlfriend loves it Casey!!! LOL Oh man…oh, you had a question?! I don’t like sable myself…it’s just a personal preference though, as they seem to need a lot more “care” and “maintenance” to keep them up to par…but since I’m lazy, I buy the synthetics, and they seem to last longer for me. Like I said, personal preference, and cash flow seems to be the deciding factors!!

As soon as I saw Hammer on some web site I had to put it in my sig. I couldnt stop laughing. Yeah the sable brushes are just so exspensive, and if you dont keep up their maintenance then they are pretty much a waste of money.

Camel hair (which actually comes from a squirrel’s tail) tends to be coarser than red sable so brushes made from it typically aren’t as well siuted to fine detail work, in my experience. But for general painting duties they work fine.

Can’t touch this! [:D] [;)]
