Funny thing was, I thought of including it in my other post, but got lazy, because of all the other pictures I was working with at the time.
I’m glad you asked, hope you like.

This is a 1/32 scale Revell kit, that I hand painted all the markings on, except the national stars, by using an old Revell model box top, as a guide…

I find, that nothing beats a painted-on tigar,shark, or beast mouth. It fits everytime, unlike decals!

Nice work on the P-40. Hand painting nose art is a lot of work, but the efforts are usually justified.

Very nice Aleutian Tiger, Leon! Thanks for posting. I really like the hand-painted tigerhead; very well done! You’re right, there’s nothing like painting it on. I only wish I had the skill and patience.

Great looking nose art… you could have fooled me, I’d have assumed it was a decal if you hadn’t said anything… awesome job.

These old hands have problems with touch-up paint. Thank the Model Gods for ‘rattle cans’.[bow][bow]
