i love the layout here…Very good work…The weathering on the vehicles is very impressive as is the lay of the rubble about. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with …

very nice work sasd!![tup]
Very nice, as usual! Love the rubble and the details overall. I especially like the newspaper
Is that curbwork a commercial item or scratched?
Great build! Thanks for sharing.
where to start?
11 figures? 2 vehicles, numerous road signs, telegraph pole and lines, maps and newspapers, stowage gear of all kinds, untold amounts of rubble, its amazing how you get all this in one dio and made to look like it belongs together with great weathering, its easy to imagine all the conversations goin on, so busy and alive id’e like to see this one up close, thanks for showing i just have one question?, do you ever sleep?
really good russ. i’ve alway’s like brit’s vehc.thank’s for the pic’s
Very, very nice. Wre do you get the time and space to build all these dioramas. That is outstanding work, and you share it with us like every week. Tell us your secret.
really cool. i like it!
Thankyou very much guys and gal,the comments get more interesting by the minuite,
oboy, where to begin, Dru the sidewalk is an old Synergy piece from the 80s. Biffa,Im usually up and working at my hobby by 4:00am,either at the computer or putting together a dio.I do rest from 8am to 12pm noon, then it
s back at it for the rest of the day
until midnight, minor breaks here and there for some Wendys, lol. It`s funny you should ask about storing the finished models as well T34,I store them in California tomato boxes,3 to a box and the boxes are stacked on 2 shelves. There they stay until a public display comes up that my model club partakes in. As a matter of fact we are currently doing a display at the Navy base in Victoria. Lately my dios and vigs are getting a little on the big side so storage is at a crucial point right now therefore I will be donating a few of my older vignettes to the military museum that we are displaying at. In the last 3wks I have completed 4 new dio/vignettes. I need to make some space!
Thanks again for the comments.[:)]
Looking good Sasd
Thad
Cool as usual Russ, and the musueum will be glad to get some of the Sharp Colleciton in their hands!
Very nicely done…
Great job!! I love the little maps and stuff. Were they copied and then reprinted smaller?
Yes the maps and papers and newspapers are all printed on a computer,I`ve even got wartime pinups and pinup photos, posters, portraits of Hitler etc. They seem to add more to a radio area or a vehicle.
Another excellent piece of work, Russ!
Well to answer y’all question: No one knows this but he is actually a Modeling Robot, he does not sleep, he does not eat, he builds, thats his programming.[:D][:D][:D].
Great build, the amount of detail you manage to put in a space this small really defies the laws of physics.
Thanks for the show.
sasd, you never cease to amaze. Keep em comming.
Fantastic work, sasd! What a diorama…wow.
Regards, Dan
What can I say, WOW. That is beautiful work Russ, congratulations [tup][tup][tup]. Mind if I ask how long it took you to put it together?
Cheers
