Does anybody have any good links and/or photos of the C-47 used during the D-Day invasion?
I bought the AC-47 Monogram 1/48 kit but I want to build it as one of the D-Day planes.
Haven’t found any good pics for details such as antenae location, and interior.

I just looked on Google images and there are a few cockpit and cabin pics in there. I only looked up to page 20 so Im sure there will be more. Just google C-47 skytrain and you should find what youre looking for.

These are from the AirZoo in Kalamazoo; I believe it was restored as a ‘late model’ SkyTrain but I don’t think the inside changed much. I just uploaded these to Flickr so you should be able to see all my pics if you search for DiceCaller under people. Here are a couple images;

Thank you for the replies/links. I found the Prime Portal site also. Since that post I was preoccupied with tornado clean up in my area. But now I can get back to the models.
I may go to the local Transportation museum here and see the C-47 they have. Not sure if they have it open to view the interior or not. Haven’t had time to do that lately. But we have the gkids this weekend, great time for that. I did make some benches out of styrene sheet, not sure if I will use them as they aren’t detailed - seat belts, etc. Not as good as most on here for doing that.
