C-17 WIP...for Goodness

I promised a few days ago to “Goodness” that I would post a few pics of my C-17. It has been on hold during our recent move, so I dug it out of the box and will get to it soon to finish. It is in the decaling stage and as you can see the masks are still on the glass. This Revell kit went together pretty well. As mentioned in another thread, I used a sharp drafting pencil for the panel lines…not sure I am going to do that again anytime soon…didn’t quite get the effect I wanted, but not all that bad. This may turn into a ceiling hanger.

[Y] C-17s are impressive aircraft. What scale is your model?

OWL

It is the latest 1:144 Revell offering…again, not a bad kit. Wish they would do a C-5.

a C-5? Now THAT would be an impressive build!

OWL

They have released a C-5 in the past. Good work on the C-17.

Looks good Hutch,

What did you use for the wing NMF? Alclad or aluminum foil?

That would be Alclad. I really like working with that stuff…
